"I have been
struggling with drug addiction for many years. I had tried to quit on my own so
many times, until I finally realized my addiction had taken full control of my
mind, body, and soul. I was in misery and thought there was no hope for me. I
went to my parents and told them I needed help, that I hated the person I had
become and could not do this alone. My aunt had found out about my need. She had
recently received an invitation from RRR for their annual auction. On
April 24, 2006
I entered RRR for my drug addiction, but had no clue I would receive much more.
I was saved on
May 11, 2006
and that was the first step to my recovery. I was even able to get baptized at
Living Faith Baptist Church (a church that supports RRR) Through Redeemer’s
Recovery I have been able to work through the pain that I have been through and
learned how to love myself. I have learned how to get into God’s Word and
receive God’s grace and mercy. I was able to stay at RRR for 5 months,
starting back to college during the last 2 months. I left on September24, 2006
to go home and live with my parents and two year old son. It has not been an
easy road but one verse I can keep with me every day is “I can do all things
through Christ who strengths me.” Phil 4:13. As I look back from day one it
amazes me how God has changed me. Each day I continue to grow.
God has allowed me to continue on in college to become a Substance Abuse
Counselor, as well as letting me come back to RRR and help in the ministry, to
give back what the Lord has given me. I give God all the glory and am thankful
He has used this ministry to change my life."

"As an alcoholic
I have been in many secular treatment centers. I can honestly say that RRR is
different. While I learned a lot at other rehabs, like why I shouldn’t drink
and what it does to my body, health, and mind. They never taught me about what
it was doing to my soul, my spirit. I often wondered why I just couldn’t get
it, why I felt like something was missing. It was my faith in God you see that
the secular rehabs didn’t teach me about; that God has a plan for my life and
only He can take care of this problem for me if I let Him. That’s what RRR
does. It’s a Christian based recovery center for women, founded and operated
by loving, caring people who know that recovery is impossible without God. They
not only help you recover from addiction, but also help you live in God’s Word
according to His will and not your own. We are taught how to deal with life and
its every day problems by using our faith in God and not by using substances.
RRR gives you a safe Christian environment to live in, and gives you the
knowledge and tools to live your life drug free. You see what it basically boils
down to is God wants me to live the life he has given me the right way, the
Christian way. A life filled with faith hope and love, not sorrow and despair.
RRR has helped me to a path of true recovery, not only from alcohol but from
life’s many disappointments. I’ve learned how to read God’s Word and apply
it to my life. I am grateful for the many blessings and for becoming the person
He intends. Wow what a wonderful feeling, thank you God! Thank you RRR and
thanks to all the people that continue to support this ministry. I hope and pray
that RRR continues to instill hope and faith into other women’s lives who so
desperately need and want it. I feel confident I have found what I need for my
recovery."
